Privacy Policy

The short version: we collect very little, and we do not sell anything about you.

Last updated: this policy describes the site as currently built. Review it before launch and whenever the site starts doing something new with data.

What we collect

Gallaxia Guides uses privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics to understand which pages get read and whether the site is fast. This does not use cookies, does not follow you across other websites, and does not build a profile of you.

Broadly, that means we see things like:

  • which pages are viewed, and how often
  • roughly where visits come from (country level, referring site)
  • general device and browser type
  • page performance measurements

What we do not collect

  • We do not ask you to create an account.
  • We do not collect names, emails, or payment details.
  • We do not sell or share data with data brokers.
  • We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Cookies

The public site does not set tracking cookies. If you log in to the admin area, a session cookie is used purely to keep you signed in — that applies to site staff, not to readers.

Third parties

The site is hosted on Vercel and its content is stored in a managed database. These providers process technical data such as IP addresses in order to serve the site, as any web host must.

Pages may link to or embed content from other sites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.

If advertising is added later

Should the site introduce advertising in future, that will involve third parties that may set cookies. If and when that happens, this policy will be updated and an appropriate consent mechanism added before any such cookies are set.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you rights over personal data held about you, including access, correction, and erasure. Because this site does not maintain accounts or identifiable records of readers, there is typically nothing held about you individually — but if you believe otherwise, get in touch via the contact page.

Add the data controller name and a contact address here before launch — this is required for EU-operated sites.
