What is One Pixel?
Gallaxia's hyper-casual take on the treasure hunt: one daily puzzle, no combat, and real prizes on the line. Here is what is actually known about it.

One Pixel takes the treasure-hunt loop that Planet-X is built on and strips out the shooter entirely. No combat, no squads, no extraction under fire — just a daily hunt for the exact pixel where treasure is buried, with real-world prizes attached to finding it.
It is the most approachable thing Gallaxia Studio is working on, and it is aimed squarely at people who want the prize hunt without a competitive FPS wrapped around it.
The basics
- Genre: Hyper-casual
- Platform: iOS and Android
- Price: Free to play
- Status: In development
- Release date: Not yet announced
How it plays
The studio describes a daily hunt built around a single decision: pick the exact pixel where you think the treasure is buried. That framing does a lot of work — it means sessions are short, there is no mechanical skill barrier, and the game fits into a gap in the day rather than demanding an evening.
Prizes named by the studio include vouchers and holidays. As with the rest of the Gallaxia lineup, the prize side is the point rather than a bolt-on, so expect the rewards to be the thing the game is designed around.
Who it is for
If Planet-X sounds appealing but the extraction shooter part does not, this is the one to watch. It is explicitly built for calm, accessible play — the studio's own framing is a feel-good experience in a minimalist world, which is about as far from a hostile alien island as the same core loop can get.
How it relates to the other Gallaxia games
One Pixel is a separate game from Loot Runner, despite the two sometimes being confused. It shares the treasure-hunt premise with Planet-X and Go Hunt, but each title approaches it differently: Planet-X through a mobile extraction shooter, Go Hunt through location-based AR, and One Pixel through a single daily tap.
What we do not know yet
- How prize odds work, and how often a hunt is winnable.
- Whether prizes route through the Lootbag Wallet as they do in Planet-X.
- Any release window beyond in development.
This guide is based on what Gallaxia Studio has said publicly. The game has not released, details will change, and we will update this page as real information arrives.
